Alpha Club Musashino Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Omiya-ku, Saitama City, Saitama Prefecture; President: Hiroaki Wada; hereinafter "the Company"), which operates comprehensive wedding halls, funeral centers, and multi-purpose halls centered on weddings, funerals, and mutual aid associations, has signed an agreement with Hanoi University of Science and Technology, a leading science and technology university in Vietnam, regarding the acceptance of international students.
Through this agreement, the Company will accept outstanding international students from the university and provide them with education and practical work opportunities in Japan. By doing so, we aim to integrate "practical business challenges" with "AI and IT technologies" to foster bridge systems engineers and technical leaders who will serve as a link between Japan and Vietnam in the future.

■ Background of the Agreement
Since our founding in 1962, we have been engaged in the ceremonial business for approximately 65 years. Today, we have grown to operate 146 ceremony halls and 4 wedding venues, with a membership base of approximately 400,000 people.
On the other hand, the environment surrounding ceremonial services has changed significantly due to the impact of COVID-19 and the progression of a declining birthrate and aging population. Weddings are becoming smaller and shifting toward photo weddings, while funerals are increasingly centered on family-only services and direct cremations, leading to a major transformation in traditional ritual culture.
At this turning point in history, we view "passing on the value of rituals to the future" as an important mission and are working on the development of new services that utilize AI and DX (Digital Transformation).
■ New Initiatives through DX and AI
We are currently promoting the following advanced initiatives:
Details: https://www.mata-aeru.jp/
・Advanced Customer Service via Generative AI
In addition to AI chatbots, we are providing new memorial experiences, such as technology that generates videos from photos of the deceased and message reproduction.
・Metaverse Cemetery "Kaze no Rei"
We are proposing a new form of memorial service that allows people to participate in funerals and memorial services through avatars.
・AI Buddhist Altar "COHACO"
An altar that creates a continuous "connection," such as receiving messages from the deceased on anniversaries and memorial days.
To support these initiatives, securing a robust IT infrastructure and highly skilled technical personnel is essential.
■ Significance of the Partnership with Hanoi University of Science and Technology
Hanoi University of Science and Technology is a top-class science and technology university in Vietnam, producing world-class talent in the fields of IT and AI.
Through this agreement, by fusing the university's excellent students with our practical business environment, we aim to achieve:
・Development of AI/DX personnel suited for practical business
・Resolution of the IT talent shortage in Japanese companies
・Promotion of technical and cultural exchange between Japan and Vietnam
We aim to build a sustainable business foundation.
■ Future Outlook
Through this initiative, we will challenge ourselves to create new value that supports "life's milestones" by combining the power of technology with the traditional industry of ceremonial services.
Furthermore, through cross-border human resource development and co-creation, we will generate sustainable growth opportunities for both Japan and Vietnam and contribute to solving social issues.
