Artisans Inc. (Headquarters: Chuo-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Arisa Yamawaki; hereinafter "Artisans") is pleased to announce that its luxury apparel brand, "ALISA," has received the Research Park Award at the 14th Kyoto Women Entrepreneur Award (Entrepreneur Award).
The Kyoto Women Entrepreneur Award is a program sponsored by Kyoto Prefecture that recognizes female entrepreneurs who possess innovative business models and social impact. It honors businesses that continue to take on future-oriented challenges in Kyoto, a region with a long history and rich culture.
Artisans' brand "ALISA" was selected for the Research Park Award in recognition of its vision and efforts to reinterpret the techniques and artistry of Japanese craftsmen for the modern era and share them with the world.

I am deeply honored to receive this award in Kyoto, a place with such a long history and culture.
ALISA was started with the desire to deliver the techniques and artistry of Japanese craftsmen to more people and to the world in a form suited for the future. I am truly grateful that our challenge has been recognized in this way.
Although it is still a small endeavor, I hope to work together with Japan's wonderful creators as "One Japan," uniting with everyone in Japan to share our vision with the world.

ALISA 2nd Anniversary Party to be held on Friday, April 24, at 18:30
This spring, "ALISA" will celebrate its 2nd anniversary.
To mark this milestone, we want to expand "ALISA" beyond just an apparel brand into a space where artisans and those who receive their work can connect and foster new culture. We are hosting an anniversary party to celebrate with everyone who has supported "ALISA" thus far.
