We hereby announce that Alfresa Corporation (Head Office: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director and President: Yusuke Fukujin), A.L. Plus Corporation (Head Office: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director and President: Masahiko Hagino), and S.M.D. Corporation (Head Office: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director and President: Yasuhide Sawato), our subsidiaries engaged in the wholesale business of ethical pharmaceuticals and other medical products, have newly acquired ISO9001 certification, an international standard for quality management systems, as detailed below.

The Alfresa Group's corporate philosophy*1 states, "We strive to always provide safe and reliable products and services and to improve customer satisfaction." Furthermore, in the business strategy for the ethical pharmaceuticals and other medical products wholesale business within the "25-27 Mid-Term Management Plan Vision2032 Stage2 ~Pioneering the Future with Comprehensive Strength~"*2, we have set "Building a logistics system that meets stakeholder demands" as a theme, actively promoting automation, mechanization, and further quality improvement in our logistics centers. As part of our efforts to strengthen distribution quality, we are promoting the acquisition of ISO9001 certification, an international standard for quality management systems, throughout the group. Newly, Alfresa Corporation's Tsukuba Logistics Center, Kanagawa Logistics Center, Shizuoka Logistics Center, and Fukuoka Logistics Center, A.L. Plus Corporation's Logistics Planning and Operations Department and Tsukuba Office, and S.M.D. Corporation have obtained certification. This brings the total number of ISO9001 certified sites in our group's logistics division to 8 companies and 18 business sites*3.

Our group will continue to promote ISO certification efforts across the entire group to enhance the satisfaction of our customers and business partners.
