AlbaLink Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Koto-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Kenji Kawata; hereinafter "AlbaLink") formally concluded a "Comprehensive Partnership Agreement for Promoting Vacant House Distribution" (hereinafter "this Agreement") with Sumita Town, Iwate Prefecture, on Thursday, May 7, Reiwa 8.

Background and Purpose of the Agreement Sumita Town, Iwate Prefecture, is a town rich in forest resources, boasting the slogan "Japan's No. 1 Forest and Forestry Town," and is home to the tradition of Kesennuma carpenters. However, in recent years, the increase in vacant houses due to population outflow has become a significant challenge. There are few real estate agents in the town capable of handling consultations regarding vacant houses, making the establishment of a consultation system an urgent task. Moving forward, it is necessary to raise awareness among owners and expand options, actively promoting the distribution and utilization of even low-liquidity properties that are difficult to trade in the market.

In light of this situation, this Agreement was concluded with the aim of resolving the vacant house problem and preserving the living environment in cooperation with Sumita Town, by leveraging AlbaLink's specialized know-how in the distribution and utilization of challenging real estate, and its nationwide network.
