Aktio and Miyazaki National Sports Festival Committee Conduct Demo for Communication Infrastructure

Aktio Corporation (Headquarters: Chuo-ku, Tokyo; President and COO: Naoto Onuma), a comprehensive construction machinery rental company, conducted a demonstration experiment to build communication infrastructure at Kirishima Shuzo Sports Land Miyakonojo in collaboration with the Miyazaki Hinata National Sports Festival/Disabled Sports Festival Miyakonojo Executive Committee (Chairman: Yorihisa Ikeda).

In this demonstration, Aktio utilized 'Starlink Business' and wireless LAN access points. During the '3rd Miyazaki Track and Field Record Meet' held on Friday, March 20, 2026, the company provided a comfortable internet environment at a dedicated booth to verify its effectiveness.

KUROKIRI STADIUM (Miyakonojo Yamano-kuchi Athletic Stadium) at Kirishima Shuzo Sports Land Miyakonojo is a large-scale stadium completed in March 2025. It has obtained 'Class 1 Certification' to host official Japan Association of Athletics Federations competitions and 'Class 2' recognition from World Athletics (WA) for Asian-level meets. It has been designated as the main venue for the 2027 National Sports Festival and National Disabled Sports Festival. Built on a vast 24-hectare site surrounded by mountains, the facility boasts a maximum capacity of 15,000 spectators. For large-scale events, it is necessary to build an internet environment capable of handling many visitors.

Against this background, Aktio supported the construction of communication infrastructure using 'Starlink Business,' providing support from site selection for Starlink antennas and access points to installation and operation.
