'Procyon Phos' Call for Entries: Providing Exhibition Space for Young Photographers Under 39

Photo Gallery Sirius, operated by Aidem Inc. (Headquarters: Shinjuku, Tokyo; President: Akira Kabayama), is now accepting applications for its support project 'Procyon Phos,' dedicated to young photographers. Applications are open until September 30, 2026. Successful applicants will be granted the right to hold a six-day photography exhibition between July and August 2027.

To date, 37 photographers have successfully passed the screening. Aidem Photo Gallery Sirius continues to support the potential of young talent by highlighting free, original, and imaginative photography.

## Call for Entries
Until September 30, 2026, we are seeking works from both professional and amateur photographers challenging various forms of photographic expression. The gallery's steering committee will review applications and select individuals or groups demonstrating exceptional expressive power and technical skill.

## About 'Procyon Phos'
Launched in 2014, this project provides creative young photographers with exhibition slots and other support. 'Procyon' is the brightest star in the constellation Canis Minor, forming the 'Winter Triangle' alongside Sirius. 'Phos' means 'light' or 'radiance' in Greek. The project aims to help young photographers become new stars shining in the creative sky.

## Application Overview
**Eligibility:**
- Individuals aged 39 or younger (as of end of Sept 2026).
- Both professionals and amateurs are welcome.
- Group applications are allowed if all members are 39 or younger.
- Applicants must be able to present 40 or more works (published or unpublished). Theme is open.

**Support Provided:**
- A six-day photography exhibition at our gallery.
- Production costs for exhibition DMs (direct mail).
- Distribution of web press releases for the exhibition.
*Note: Printing costs are to be borne by the exhibitor.

**Schedule:**
- Application Deadline: September 30, 2026.
- Notification of Results: End of October 2026.
- Exhibition Period: Scheduled for July–August 2027.
