AI Reskill Inc. (Headquarters: Osaka City, Osaka Prefecture; Representative Director: Shinya Yamahara) today, May 8, 2026 (Friday), launched the beta version of 'Weabee,' a discovery OS specialized in AI events.

Weabee is an AI-focused platform where users can find AI events by tool, category, and region. Instead of replacing existing event platforms, it acts as an 'OS layer for discovery and continuous connection' on top of them, connecting those who want to host AI events with those who want to participate. At the time of its beta launch, it starts with approximately 180 co-creation spaces and regional hubs nationwide surveyed, with 65 public events searchable by 9 categories, 37 AI tools, and by prefecture across Japan.

AI Event Specialized Platform 'Weabee' Launched in Beta Today, Structuring 180 Nationwide AI Events by Tool, Category, and Region

Background of the Release: Starting from 'What a Waste' Felt on the Ground

Shinya Yamahara, the representative, repeatedly encountered issues while speaking at and participating in AI events at co-creation spaces and local governments, mainly in Osaka and Kansai. These issues included 'excellent AI events being held in various places but not being discovered by participants because they are only listed on company websites,' and 'organizers struggling with attracting attendees, with new participants leaning towards referrals.' Given this situation in relatively active Osaka, it is believed that discovering AI events in rural areas is even more difficult.

Through the experience of operating the Kobe City commissioned project 'Kobe Digital Activity Department' (9 months, 7 sessions) in fiscal year 2025, he also realized an increase in student participants and the difficulty of discovering events from other communities. Additionally, if event registration involves company websites or Google Forms, using other event platforms for recruitment would lead to multiple forms, making operational management cumbersome for organizers. This problem also became apparent.

Therefore, Weabee was designed as a platform where offline and online AI events nationwide gather in one place, primarily by broadly accepting listings of external events. While attention to AI is high and many people are seeking events, places where AI events can be searched across categories, tools, and regions are limited (according to our own research), which led us to develop and launch this service in-house.

In addition, AI Reskill Inc.'s 'AI Tool Gallery' began offering AI online course functions two years ago, and since then, has held interviews with over 100 AI instructors. During this process, we realized the high hurdle for new AI dissemination and the current lack of easily accessible platforms for AI communication, which is reflected in Weabee's design philosophy of 'not fixing strong players.'

Representative's Comment

Shinya Yamahara, Representative Director, AI Reskill Inc.

The role of Weabee is to create the 'first connecting place' for event organizers who want to hold AI events and people who want to participate. Instead of replacing existing event platforms, it will expand the world of AI events by serving as a discovery and continuous connection layer on top of them.

Whether you are looking for AI events that suit you, want to organize an AI event, or are a facility/local government that wants to connect AI learners in your region—please try Weabee. Today's beta launch is just the starting point. We want to nurture Weabee together with the organizers and participants who use it.

Three Design Principles Supporting Weabee

Weabee differentiates itself from other platforms with its tagline 'Weave the Wave of AI' and three design principles.

Three Design Principles: Structured Categories / AI Search / Non-fixed Ranking of Strong Players

1. Structured Categories

Instead of 'text search,' events are structured along axes of 'Category x AI Tool Used x Target Level x Location x Format.' The ability to reach related events from interesting AI tools like ChatGPT / Claude / Gemini / Genspark / Felo / Dify is a discovery axis not found in other event platforms.

Weabee's categories are organized into the following 9 to allow participants to select based on 'what they want to do':

Categories

Content

AI Introduction/Basics

Beginner-friendly, basic understanding, how to start, elementary prompts, AI literacy

Business Efficiency

Meetings, document creation, information organization, knowledge management, daily business efficiency

AI Introduction/Business Utilization

Management, organization, business redesign, AI strategy
