AEON Entertainment Opens Its 3rd Store in Vietnam, First in Ho Chi Minh: 'AEON BETA Central Premium'

AEON Entertainment Co., Ltd., which operates 97 'AEON Cinema' theaters nationwide, opened a new cinema complex 'AEON BETA Central Premium' on March 20, 2026, in Ho Chi Minh City, the economic center located in southern Vietnam.

For its expansion into Vietnam, AEON Entertainment established a joint venture 'AEON ENTERTAINMENT VIETNAM CO., LTD.' in March 2025 with Beta Media JSC, a Vietnamese cinema operating company. They opened their first Vietnamese store 'AEON BETA Vincom Smart City' in Hanoi in December 2025, and 'AEON BETA Vincom Royal Island' in Hai Phong in January 2026, leading to the opening of this third store in Ho Chi Minh City.

The new theater features a total of 7 screens and 753 seats. In addition to the 'WAKUWAKU seats,' which are wider than regular seats and allow for relaxing reclining, they installed 'DOKI DOKI seats' for pairs, catering to Vietnamese customers who frequently visit as couples. It can be used according to customers' needs. At the merchandise corner, which has been well-received at other AEON BETA locations, they plan to sell popular Japanese IP goods.

Under the brand concept of 'Creating and expanding the circle of emotion,' AEON Entertainment will continue to take on challenges to deliver surprise and emotion to customers in Vietnam.
