Aeon Retail will hold the 2nd "Genki Festival" to promote frailty prevention at approximately 380 Aeon and Aeon Style stores*1) from Friday, April 3 to Wednesday (holiday), May 6.
In recent years, as the aging population accelerates, efforts to prevent frailty have been expanding to maintain physical and mental health for longer periods. Against this backdrop, our company has been implementing the "Genki Festival" initiative since September 2025, aiming to provide an opportunity for people to consider health maintenance and lifestyle improvement.
For the second festival, we will offer up to approximately 290 items*2) useful for health maintenance, such as supplements and nutritional foods. When customers purchase eligible products, WAON bonus points will be awarded*3), and an equivalent amount of points will be donated to local welfare administrative bodies*4) to be used for welfare activities. From Friday, April 3 to Wednesday (holiday), May 6, customers who purchase eligible products from 35 participating companies, totaling up to approximately 290 items*2), will receive WAON bonus points*3). In addition, an equivalent amount of points will be donated to local welfare administrative bodies*4) and utilized for initiatives such as frailty prevention in the community, in addition to personal health maintenance.

It is said that "nutrition," "physical activity," and "social participation" are important for frailty prevention. To help promote the health of local residents and foster community, we will hold events that provide information and experiential opportunities related to frailty prevention and lifestyle improvement. Large-scale events where our store qualified personnel and business partners gather to offer health checks and seminars will be held at 4 stores*6). In addition to 26 business partners, which is about 1.5 times more than last year, government and local organizations will also participate, providing a venue for health-related information and consultations for local residents. Furthermore, to raise health awareness among more people, our pharmacists and employees will hold "Genki Petit Festivals" at approximately 340 stores*5) on Wednesday, April 15, offering body composition and vascular age measurements, blood sugar checks, and skincare seminars.
