Architect Developer Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Ginza, Chuo-ku, Tokyo, President and Representative Director: Hironori Kimoto, hereafter 'ADI') held an initiation ceremony at the 'Mynavi PLACE' in the Higashi-Ginza Kabukiza Tower on Wednesday, April 1, 2026, welcoming 51 new employees. The message from ADI Representative Hironori Kimoto is as follows.

Congratulations to all of you on joining us as the final group of new employees under the name Architect Developer. Today, I would like to offer my words of celebration.
The 51 of you gathered here were university students until just last week. Universities operate under a common evaluation metric of academics. In that world, there would be little objection to the University of Tokyo or Kyoto University being at the top. If one had the ability to pass the entrance exams for those universities, not many would intentionally choose another.
In other words, the academic world is a highly linear one, measured by a 'single yardstick'. I am sure you have all been conscious of your standing through deviation scores and the like. And unconsciously, you have probably been ranking yourselves.
However, that premise changes completely starting today.
In the business world, a single yardstick does not exist. Talent, forms of success, and axes of evaluation are truly infinite. That is why it is important to develop your strengths, acknowledge your weaknesses, figure out ways to compensate for them, and continue to challenge a future that you cannot even see yet.
Only those who continue to do this will achieve great results over a long period of time. I can assert this from my own experience.
I graduated from Keio University in 2001 and started my career as a working professional just like you. At that time, I never imagined that 25 years later I would be standing before new employees in a setting like this, in a position of responsibility over many staff members.
Rather, there were many outstanding individuals around me since my student days. Players who achieved national victory with the Keio rugby club, and highly capable peers from the University of Tokyo and Kyoto University.
If I had limited my potential based on those narrow metrics back then, I wouldn't be who I am today.
The real game starting from here is determined by 'from now on', not the 'past'.
Those who use all the power they possess and continue to challenge themselves will eventually reach a future they could not have imagined from their current selves.
I always have great expectations for the youth. Looking back at history, it is always the youth who have changed the world. Therefore, I want you to drastically raise the expectations you have for yourselves, starting from today, right here.
Now, our company will change its name to 'Teikoku Fudosan Co., Ltd.' starting May 1st.
The reasons for this are explained in detail in Hironori Kimoto's note published recently, so please read it during breaks in your training.
However, there is one thing I want to tell you. That is, the company is also just like you.
Currently, we might be seen as a company headquartered in Ginza that has achieved a certain level of growth. But I have no intention of defining this company solely by its current state.
We are moving towards a grand, unseen future. No one knows what form that will take. But all the executives here are convinced that we will take on a completely different form than we have now.
Please, all of you, hold great expectations for yourselves, for the company, and for your colleagues.
I sincerely hope that you will build careers and lives worthy of those expectations right here.
Once again, congratulations on joining the company. Let's create the future together.
