ADF (NPO Aoyama Design Forum) will hold the exhibition "Yosuke Yamanochi" by artist Yosuke Yamanochi as the 41st installment of the art exhibition "ADF Art Gallery Project" from Friday, April 17, 2026, to Thursday, April 30, 2026, at GARDE Gallery in Omotesando.

Artwork Name: Head statue Year: 2026 Material: Oil on canvas Size: P20 (727x530mm)

Yamanochi, originally from Aichi Prefecture, has participated in numerous solo and group exhibitions. This exhibition will feature a collection of works by Yamanochi, who turns 30 this year, documenting his ever-changing mental and physical state in the form of "paintings".

Trees that grow lush and green in summer turn color and bear fruit in autumn, and shed their leaves in winter. Then, in spring, they bud all at once again. As seasons turn and many years pass, saplings grow into mature trees, eventually aging and decaying. Humans, too, are beings who are constantly changing mentally and physically, influenced by their environment and relationships as they age. There are times when they are in peak condition, and times when they experience a difficult "winter of life".

Artwork Name: Oilyfall Year: 2026 Material: Oil on canvas Size: P100 (1620x1120mm)

Artwork Name: Reproduction Year: 2026 Material: Oil on canvas Size: (410x273mm)

Yamanochi may be attempting to record and affirm his ever-changing mental and physical state through the act of painting. For Yamanochi, his works are like "fruits" nurtured during the process of life, the unique record of his existence as a "tree" that is an artist.

Artwork Name: Flow Year: 2026 Material: Oil on canvas Size: P30 (910x652mm)

Artwork Name: Untitled Year: 2026 Material: Oil on canvas Size: S10 (530x530mm)

As the artist reaches the milestone of 30 years old, we would be honored if you could view the record of his journey thus far and the "life" he will continue to create.
