Korean Language School 'K-PRO,' with Over 700 Students, Holds Real-World Speaking Event for Students

Accent Ace Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Chuo-ku, Tokyo) held a real-world study session event for students of its Korean online school "K-PRO" in Akasaka on Saturday, February 21, 2026. Approximately 65 students participated in this event, which provided an opportunity to actually “speak and use” the Korean they had been learning online. Speaking training, group work, and feedback from instructors were conducted.

A Real Practical Venue Hosted by an Online School

"K-PRO," which opened in 2024 as an online Korean language school specializing in pronunciation, offers a curriculum focused on pronunciation and speaking, rather than grammar-centric learning, based on a unique method developed by its representative, Seungjun, who also serves as an instructor for language programs.

By March 2026, the number of students had exceeded 700. This real-world study session was held with the aim of having students refine and experience "Korean that can be understood" by speaking the words and sentences they had learned online.

At the study session, students actually spoke the words and sentences they had learned. They performed output in a group work format and held a presentation.

During practice, "K-PRO" representative Seungjun went around each group, providing feedback on each person's pronunciation and expression. Through "on-the-spot guidance" and "conversation with others," which are difficult to obtain online, the aim was to improve speaking skills.

After the presentations, the group with the best performance was selected and awarded. The winning group received Korean language educational materials provided by the Korean Embassy from Seungjun.

At the end of the study session, a social gathering was held, providing a place for students to interact with each other.

Although language learning has been imagined as "something one does alone," community-based learning styles, where people learn together, have recently attracted attention. "K-PRO" aims to create connections among students through real events in addition to online classes, providing a learning environment that is easy to continue.

Born in Seoul, Korea. Graduated from Kyoto University, Faculty of Integrated Human Studies (majoring in neuroscience, physiology, linguistics). Attended an international school in Korea until junior high and high school, then came to Japan as a Monbukagakusho (Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology) scholarship student after high school graduation. After graduating from university, he founded a company after working at Recruit Co., Ltd. He is fluent in four languages: Korean, Japanese, English, and Chinese. He has a perfect score on the Japanese Language Proficiency Test N1, a perfect score on TOEIC, and HSK Level 4 in Chinese. He is a representative instructor of Korean culture at the Korean Embassy Tokyo Education Institute. He also works as a Korean language coach for AVEX artists. He operates the YouTube channel "Seungjun Korean Pronunciation is 90%" (33,000 subscribers), providing guidance to beginners and those who have given up on learning, helping them to speak in a short period.
