Nakajima Teru's 'Number One Self-Esteem Project in Japan' has officially launched.

The first lecture of the project, led by Nakajima Teru, was held at Kishiwada City Yagikita Elementary School.

The theme of this session was 'What Is Self-Esteem?'

A special one-hour lecture was conducted for fifth-grade students.

The goal of this project is to help each child value themselves and develop the strength to stay positive even in difficult situations.

Self-esteem is the inner foundation that allows one to think, 'I am going to be okay.'

During the lecture, Nakajima explained self-esteem as the mental foundation that enables one to feel 'I am okay,'

presenting the concept in a way that was easy for children to understand.

Self-esteem is not constant—it naturally fluctuates. Everyone experiences ups and downs.

What matters most is cultivating the ability to recover and rebuild self-esteem when it dips.

The children listened intently to Nakajima's words, engaging in a meaningful time of self-reflection.

The audience was deeply moved by a child's heartfelt words

At the end of the lecture, one student shared their thoughts:

'I realized I want to stay positive, even when facing difficulties.'

These words deeply touched the hearts of fellow students and teachers,

with some moved to tears.

The entire room was filled with warmth and emotion, witnessing the children's sincere reflections and moments of growth.

It was an unforgettable experience that showed how the lesson on self-esteem went beyond mere knowledge—it truly reached each child's heart.

Growing the tree of self-esteem in every child's heart

The 'Number One Self-Esteem Project in Japan' aims to nurture a 'tree of self-esteem' within each child's heart.

The strength to believe in oneself. The resilience to rise after failure. The ability to value one's existence without comparing to others.

Together with the fifth-grade students at Kishiwada City Yagikita Elementary School,

we have taken the first step toward this vision.

Moving forward, this project will continue to help children develop the strength to live as their authentic selves,

spreading the circle of self-esteem to schools, families, and communities.
