SAMANSA (Headquarters: Shibuya, Tokyo; President: Yuichi Iwanaga) has announced the teaser trailer, visual, and project information for director Ryu Suzuki's latest film, 'White Rain,' selected as a project for the short film production support program 'TRIPLEX.'

Comments from cast members, including lead actress Ryoka Noya, have arrived for the crowdfunding campaign that started today, May 26. Furthermore, directors Koji Fukase ('Tatsumi') and Masaki Nishiyama ('Invisible Half') have shared their expectations for the film.

This panic thriller was selected from over 200 submissions for 'TRIPLEX,' a production support program organized by SAMANSA, the Shimokitazawa cinema 'K2,' and MotionGallery.

Following his previous work 'Keshin,' which won 13 awards at 30 international film festivals, director Ryu Suzuki's new project depicts the terror of 'rain that dries everything it touches.' The film stars Ryoka Noya, alongside an experienced ensemble cast including Yasufumi Kuramoto, Midori Ando, and Kazunari Yanagiya. The production features VFX by Tomomi Miyashita and special makeup by Kaiho.

The film is scheduled to be released at Shimokita - Ekimae - Cinema 'K2' between winter 2026 and spring 2027.
