Housebird Co., Ltd., a group company of Agratio Urban Design Inc., is further expanding its initiatives in Saitama Prefecture through collaboration in the 'System for Solving Vacant House Issues,' following an agreement on vacant house measures signed by Saitama Resona Bank and Sugito Town, Kitakatsushika District, Saitama Prefecture, on June 10.

With this agreement, the number of municipalities collaborating through the 'System for Solving Vacant House Issues,' in which Housebird participates, has reached eight in Saitama Prefecture. The public-private partnership initiatives, which have been underway since fiscal year 2025, are steadily expanding, strengthening the support system for utilizing vacant houses according to local issues and needs.

This agreement establishes a one-stop support system through public-private partnership to address diverse local challenges such as the management, sale, leasing, demolition, and renovation of vacant houses. In this system, the company plays the role of regenerating and utilizing vacant houses as accommodation facilities, promoting the effective use of local resources and the creation of new stay value.

The 'System for Solving Vacant House Issues' is a service that supports the resolution of various issues related to vacant houses through a network of 16 professional companies in Saitama Prefecture, with whom Saitama Resona Bank collaborates. By leveraging this locally rooted expert network, the system provides comprehensive support tailored to the owner's situation and local characteristics.

Housebird will contribute to tourism promotion and sustainable regional revitalization by utilizing its track record in whole-building rental accommodations and traditional house (kominka) renovation across the country, through the repurposing of vacant houses into accommodation facilities.
