Housebird Co., Ltd. Expands Public-Private Partnership for Vacant House Conversion into Accommodations to 7 Municipalities in Saitama Prefecture

Housebird Co., Ltd., a group company of Agratio Urban Design, is further expanding its initiatives in Saitama Prefecture through the 'Vacant House Total Solution System,' following an agreement on vacant house measures signed between Resona Group's Saitama Resona Bank and Yashio City, Saitama Prefecture (signed on May 27). With this agreement, the number of municipalities collaborating through the 'Vacant House Total Solution System,' in which Housebird participates, has reached seven in Saitama Prefecture. This agreement aims to build a one-stop support system through public-private partnership to address various regional issues such as the management, sale, rental, demolition, and renovation of vacant houses. In this system, our company plays the role of regenerating and utilizing vacant houses as accommodation facilities, promoting the effective use of regional resources and the creation of new stay value. The 'Vacant House Total Solution System' is a service that supports the resolution of various issues related to vacant houses by introducing 16 specialized companies in Saitama Prefecture with whom Saitama Resona Bank has concluded partnership agreements. The service has been provided since September 2025, building a comprehensive support system that leverages a network of locally rooted experts. Housebird will contribute to tourism promotion and sustainable regional revitalization by utilizing its track record of managing whole-building rental accommodations and renovating old folk houses across the country to repurpose vacant houses into lodging facilities.
