ABEMA (Abeama), 'the new future of television,' is exclusively streaming the documentary series 'VIBY 159 Road to Budokan,' which follows the journey of VIBY (Baibī), a boy group born from Rii.MJ (Ri.MJ), the new label founded by KIM MI JEONG (Kim Mi-jong), known for discovering global stars like BTS and TOMORROW X TOGETHER.

The #4 advance screening of the program was held in Osaka on Saturday, July 4, gathering approximately 160 fans.

The documentary series closely follows VIBY, an all-teen Japanese boy group that made their long-awaited debut on June 24, completely documenting their 159-day journey leading up to their debut showcase at Nippon Budokan on August 31. It captures the real, everyday challenges of the members as they grow and strive toward their dream stage.

At the #4 advance screening held in Osaka, around 160 TOMO (fan name) attended and engaged in various interactions with VIBY.

Members Blush at 'Points You Might Not Know About Yourselves!' Shared by Fans

After the screening, VIBY made their appearance, sparking cheers from fans in the venue. In the 'Points You Might Not Know About Yourselves!' segment, where fans had previously submitted their favorite member traits, the fans' deep knowledge revealed the members' quirky charms one after another, creating a warm and cozy atmosphere throughout. When RENKI received a passionate request from TOMO to declare, 'Say you're handsome!', he confidently proclaimed, 'I'm handsome!' at the center of the stage, despite being visibly embarrassed. The audience melted, exclaiming, 'So cute!'

For KOTARO, fans highlighted his 'adorable teeth alignment when he smiles.' When he actually smiled at the audience showing his teeth, loud cheers erupted. AKITO then shared a behind-the-scenes story: 'I lost my last baby tooth at the hotel on the second day of shooting the 'Mi*light' MV. As a trainee, my smile was always missing a tooth (laughs).' The venue was filled with a cheerful atmosphere.

For RYOHA, fans praised his cute smile and added, 'He kind of looks like IO-kun, so we'd love to see them form a unit and sing a song together.' The audience agreed, shouting, 'They do look alike!' causing the teased IO to blush, delighting fans with their close bond.

AKITO was further praised with, 'He's just too much of a charmer! Anyone who talks to him will definitely fall for him.' When IO teased, 'Don't you lack a bit of flirtatiousness?' and the audience started chanting 'More!', IO reenacted a daily habit: 'When we do makeup, AKITO bends down and brings his face close.' AKITO blushed intensely, teased by members saying, 'Your ears are red too!', pushing the excitement to its peak.

A Cappella Performance of 'HANAMARU' & Serious Call-and-Response for 'Koi ni Ochitara'

In the next segment, responding to TOMO's request, 'Tell us your favorite performance parts!', KOTARO nominated 'RYOHA's rap part in 'HANAMARU'.' Prompted by the members shouting, 'Let's do it once!', they suddenly decided to perform it a cappella on the spot. Following RYOHA's rap, all members sang the chorus a cappella while dancing, delivering a rare and precious performance.

Additionally, they practiced fan call-and-response based on the recently released cheering guide for 'Koi ni Ochitara.' As they started practicing while watching the video, TOMO delivered a highly polished call-and-response from the first try. The members were amazed, saying, 'Perfect!' and 'You guys are way too skilled!', creating a strong sense of unity in the venue.

When asked, 'Tell us your dreams and goals beyond the Nippon Budokan!', the five passionately shared their future visions in their own words.

AKITO: 'As an artist, I'd love to appear on Kōhaku Uta Gassen and the Japan Record Awards!'

IO: 'I want us five to take the lead and create our own songs.'

KOTARO: 'I want to perform live overseas a lot. Especially Korea, since it's a place that supported me during my trainee days—I definitely want to go back!'

RENKI: 'I'd love to perform at Kōhaku Uta Gassen, the most exciting year-end event.'

RYOHA: 'My unchanging dream is to go on a world tour. I want to meet various TOMO fans all over the world and enjoy it together.'

Later, in a special segment, the members came down from the stage to directly teach the choreography of 'HANAMARU' to fans up close. The sight of each member gently teaching at a close distance drew screams of joy from the audience.

Amid a unified atmosphere, a farewell event was held at the end, where members personally expressed their gratitude to each attending fan, concluding the event in great success.

A post-event survey of attendees recorded 100% satisfaction with the program. Furthermore, when asked, 'How has your willingness to attend the Budokan live event changed after this advance screening?', 100% responded, 'It has increased (even more).'

Episode #5 of the program will be broadcast for free on 'ABEMA' starting at 10 PM on Wednesday, July 22, 2026.
