Related videos surpass 150 million total views! Talk variety show 'Doping Talking 2', hosted by Soshina (Shimofuri Myojo), to premiere on June 17

The 'new future television' ABEMA has decided to broadcast the original program 'Doping Talking 2' (12 episodes in total), hosted by Soshina of the comedy duo Shimofuri Myojo, every Wednesday at 11:00 PM starting June 17, 2026.

'Doping Talking' is a talk variety show where comedians head to places they would 'never go in daily life' or meet people they 'would never cross paths with,' sharing their experiences through the art of storytelling. All episodes shared on this show are 'first-time' disclosures prepared exclusively for 'Doping Talking.' Starting with Season 2, MC Soshina will award 1 million yen whenever he considers a story to be 'too funny.'

Season 1, which aired from August 2025, saw many comedians participate, ranging from comedy award winners and regulars to veterans dominating variety shows. Featuring experiences such as contact with a Japanese female spy, reverse-interviewing a weekly magazine reporter, channeling by a 93-year-old blind 'itako' medium, and living for one week in a 'stigma property' where a murder occurred, the intense episodes comedians experienced became a hot topic, garnering a lot of attention with total views for related videos surpassing 150 million.

Following the success of the program, the broadcast of 'Doping Talking 2' has been decided. Once again, numerous comedians have gathered under Soshina. Including first-time participants Onigoe Tomahawk, Sho Hasumi (Dau 90000), and Kemuri Matsui (Reiwa Roman), skilled storytellers such as Hikorohi and Mayurika will perform their 'first-time' anecdote talks, captivating audiences with their storytelling skills.

Regarding the decision for Season 2, MC Soshina commented, 'I am truly happy that I can do a signature program with my face on it once again on ABEMA, which is a medium I also like.' He also expressed his expectations for the season, stating, 'It is actually a program about storytelling, so I want to look forward to how professional comedians create their setups and use words to describe their experiences.'
