The new future TV 'ABEMA' will begin broadcasting the original dating show 'Love Hospital' (6 episodes total) on the 'ABEMA SPECIAL Channel' starting April 2, 2026, at 10:00 PM. 'Love Hospital' is a dating program where adults who have become too absorbed in their work to remember how to love face romance with sincerity. Ten men and women who have been at the forefront of politics, business, and culture will spend three days and two nights living together, confronting the love and the selves they had previously left behind. As their values, pasts, and views on love intersect, their true feelings and vulnerabilities are laid bare. The show focuses on the choices they make in a world of love where logic and rationality do not apply. The cast includes male members such as former politician Shinji (Shinji Ishimaru, 43), actor Hideo (Hideo Ishiguro, 37) known for 'Gokusen' and 'Hanzawa Naoki', entrepreneur and 'Reiwa no Tora' producer Ryusei (Ryusei Kuwata, 40), former J-Leaguer and culinary researcher Yuto (Yuto Koizumi, 30), and freelance announcer Masakatsu (Masakatsu Shizuishi, 32). Female members include current University of Tokyo graduate student and Miss Tokyo University 2020/Miss Campus 2021 Grand Prix winner Asa (Asa Kamiya, 25), Nishitokyo City council member and former elementary school teacher Izumi (Izumi Senga, 33), office worker and talent/single mother Erina (Arina Hirakawa, 33), former top talent Natsuko (Natsuko Tatsumi, 38), and former auto mechanic turned mechanic support company owner Haruka (Haruka Ikeda, 30). The show promises a realistic look at adult romance that differs from previous dating programs. The studio commentators include the 'charisma of beauty' Allen-sama, entrepreneur Hiroyuki, actress Yoko Maki, and model/actress Tina Tamashiro.
