ABEMA to Offer Terrestrial Pre-broadcast and Fastest Web Distribution of the Highly Popular "Classroom of the Elite 4th Season: 2nd Year Arc, 1st Semester" Starting April 1st (Wednesday)! First Broadcast to Include Episodes 1-4 All at Once!

The new future TV "ABEMA" will offer terrestrial pre-broadcast and the fastest web distribution of the highly popular "school apocalypse" latest work, "Classroom of the Elite 4th Season: 2nd Year Arc, 1st Semester," every Wednesday at 10 PM, starting April 1, 2026. To commemorate the start of the new season, a free marathon broadcast of all episodes from previous series will also be held.

"Classroom of the Elite" is based on the popular light novel by Shogo Kinugasa, which has surpassed a cumulative total of 10.8 million copies in print. Set in Tokyo Metropolitan Advanced Nurturing High School, an elite school that upholds a thorough meritocracy where only the most capable receive preferential treatment, the story depicts protagonist Kiyotaka Ayanokoji, assigned to the bottom-tier Class 1-D filled with problem students, engaging in fierce competition and strategizing within the school society alongside classmates like Suzune Horikita, who aims for the top-tier Class A. The intricate psychological battles and mind games among the high school students have gained popularity, leading to its first anime adaptation in 2017, with "3rd season" having been broadcast so far. The "4th season," set to begin broadcasting in April 2026, will depict the new battles of Ayanokoji and his classmates as they advance to their second year, raising expectations for the sequel.

It has been decided that "ABEMA" will offer terrestrial pre-broadcast and the fastest web distribution of "Classroom of the Elite 4th Season: 2nd Year Arc, 1st Semester." Starting April 1, 2026 (Wednesday), it will be broadcast for free every Wednesday at 10 PM, ahead of terrestrial TV, and the latest episodes will be available for free for two weeks starting at 10 PM the day after the broadcast. The first broadcast will be a marathon of episodes 1 to 4.

Furthermore, prior to the start of the "4th season" broadcast, a free marathon broadcast of all episodes from "Classroom of the Elite" "1st season" to "3rd season" has also been decided, starting March 31 (Tuesday) at 9 PM. All episodes will be available for free for one week after the broadcast.
