ABC-MART Reinterprets Vans Icon 'Authentic' with New Materials and Patterns: Duck Canvas, Botanical Print, and Leopard – Three Distinct New Lines

ABC-MART will release three new lines of Vans' iconic 'Authentic' model—celebrating the brand's 60th anniversary—starting June 18, 2026 (Thursday), at ABC-MART stores nationwide and its official online store.

Alongside the launch, ABC-MART will unveil new visuals featuring professional surfer Mikey February and professional skateboarder Ruby Lilley, both Vans riders.

◼️ Reinterpreting the Brand's Origin: 'Authentic' with New Materials and Patterns

Originally launched in 1966 as 'Style 44,' the Authentic was Vans' first model, known for its durable canvas upper and signature waffle-pattern outsole offering superior grip. Loved by generations, it has evolved alongside skateboarding, music, and art cultures to become a symbol of the brand.

The new collection features three distinct lines: 'Duck Canvas,' 'Archive,' and 'Leopard.' The 'Duck Canvas' line uses heavy-duty duck canvas for the upper—more durable than standard canvas—offering a versatile, minimalist design in subdued tones. The 'Archive' line features botanical prints on the upper, creating a fresh, summery look. Its vibrant colors add seasonal flair and visual impact, making it a standout styling accent. The 'Leopard' line boldly features the popular leopard print, available in classic yellow and a more subdued black version, suitable for a wide range of styles.

※ The 'Leopard' line is scheduled for release in early July.

While retaining the Authentic's timeless silhouette, each line expresses a unique personality through material and pattern variations.
