15% Higher Encounter Rate with Supernatural Entities!
Based on the story and world of 'Senritsu Maze – Ward of Darkness,' one of Japan’s most renowned horror attractions at Fuji-Q Highland, this experience presents a completely original narrative—'the hidden side and another story of Senritsu Maze.' Encounter rates with supernatural entities are 15% higher than in the original 'Senritsu Maze: Me.' The VR environment features an 8-floor, 1km-long virtual labyrinth. Photo-taking and selfies are possible within the virtual space, allowing guests to capture images of encountered entities and Sadako, then share them on social media as investigation reports.
Senritsu Maze: Me – Anomaly Awakening: Sadako Special Investigation – VR Experience Concept
'Senritsu Maze: Me – Anomaly Awakening: Sadako Special Investigation' Story
Summer 2025: The transformation of the Tokyo Tower VR attraction into a 'Senritsu Maze'—documented by the private paranormal investigation agency '(Corp.) Anomaly Countermeasures Institute'—remained unsolved, despite cooperation from over 20,000 participants.
The cursed VR headsets, as foretold by a vanished medium, began spreading nationwide. As investigators repeatedly observed and recorded the phenomena, the anomalies grew more active, feeding on human fear and amplifying their presence.
2026—
The accumulated curse has finally reached its critical point.
As a result, abnormal records—indicating the presence of something that should not exist here—were confirmed.
Investigation reports repeatedly began documenting the presence of a long-haired woman.
'Senritsu Maze: Me' has begun to be corrupted by her curse.

[About 'Senritsu Maze']

Fuji-Q Highland (Senritsu Maze)
[About 'Sadako']
Sadako is a vengeful spirit originating from Koji Suzuki’s novel 'Ring' (1991), which depicts the terror of a 'cursed videotape' that kills anyone who watches it after a set period. In the climax of the live-action film 'Ring' (1998), Sadako crawls out of a TV screen to kill her cursed victims, shocking late-20th-century Japan and instantly making her a universally recognized figure. Spreading the 'Ring Virus' through the cursed video, she is known for her long black hair covering her face, white dress, and appearances from wells or TV screens. The 'Ring' series has been remade in Hollywood and is now a globally recognized horror icon across generations.
