"The Labyrinth of Fear: Maze - Kaii Kakusei - Sadako Special Investigation" Story

In the summer of 2025, the transformation of the Tokyo Tower VR attraction into "The Labyrinth of Fear" by the private organization "Kai'i Taisaku Kiko" (Supernatural Incident Countermeasures Agency) remained unsolved, despite over 20,000 investigation participants.

The "Labyrinth of Fear" VR goggles spread nationwide, as foretold by the words of the vanished medium. As investigators continued their observations and recordings, the supernatural phenomena intensified, feeding on people's fear and continuing to amplify.

2026--.

The accumulated curse finally reaches its critical point.

As a result, anomalous records that should not exist in this place were confirmed.

Investigation reports began to repeatedly record the presence of a long-haired woman.

"The Labyrinth of Fear: Maze" began to be eroded by her curse.

【About Sadako】

Sadako is a vengeful spirit born from Koji Suzuki's novel "Ring" (91), which depicts the horror of a "cursed video" that inevitably leads to death after a certain period for anyone who watches it. In the climax scene of the live-action film "Ring" (98), her appearance crawling out of a TV screen to kill the cursed person sent shockwaves through Japan at the end of the century, making her an instantly recognizable figure. She spreads the "Ring virus" through the "cursed video," killing those who watch it. Her signature look includes a white dress and long black hair covering her face, and she is known for appearing from wells and TV screens. The "Ring" series has also been remade in Hollywood, and she is now a globally recognized horror icon with widespread recognition across generations both domestically and internationally.
