Profile of Harumi Kurokawa, President & CEO, Yotsubashi Foods Co., Ltd.
Born in Munakata City, Fukuoka Prefecture. After moving to the Kansai region for university, she worked in the apparel industry after graduation. At age 30, she decided to become independent and entered the food and beverage industry despite having no prior experience. In March 2011, she opened 'Yotsubashi Cafe' in Kitahorie. In 2013, the business was incorporated as Yotsubashi Foods Co., Ltd. In 2014, the company opened its own farm, 'Yotsubashi Farm Tondabayashi', and in 2015, a second farm on Ishigaki Island. The company expanded its business with 'Potet Labo' in 2017 and 'Muroya Inari' in 2019. Since 2018, it has ventured into travel planning and minpaku (private lodging) operations. In 2026, it launched 'Harumaki Specialty Store Lamp', the first department store-based spring roll specialty shop in Japan. The company aims to grow further to realize its vision of creating a workplace where women can thrive and a better working environment than others.
