We support the 'April Dream' project, which aims to make April 1st a day to share dreams. This press release is the dream of 3S Optech. What if there were 'optimal light' even in the freezing Antarctic, the scorching desert, the bottom of the sea, or in outer space? Light is not just for illuminating space. It changes how people work, enhances the value of space, and shapes the future itself. In our 2026 April Dream, we set a new goal: to realize an 'era where light designs the world.' Last year, we shared our dream of 'creating the future with LED light.' This resonated with many, and our banner was featured in this year's April Dream guidelines. Now, we move to the next stage. In the coming era, lighting will not be something you 'choose,' but something you 'design.' It will evolve into an entity that 'designs the environment itself.' Factories, construction sites, offices, commercial facilities, and even harsh environments like high-temperature saunas, cryogenic cold storage, or dusty sites—every location needs 'light unique to that place.' However, in reality, the 'same lighting' continues to be used in many places. This is because the idea of optimizing light for each environment is not yet standard. Furthermore, Japan is at a major turning point. By the end of 2027, the manufacture and import/export of fluorescent lamps will be banned. This is not just a rule change; it marks the end of an era where lighting is treated as mere equipment. That is why we ask at this turning point: What if light could adapt to any environment? What if it could be designed freely, regardless of temperature or conditions? As a custom LED lighting manufacturer, 3S Optech has provided optimal light for each site while achieving 'reduced replacement costs' and 'shorter construction periods.' By designing lighting that handles high temperatures, low temperatures, and dust, we are creating new value in sites previously considered 'difficult.' This is not just a product, but a new value of 'creating light to match the environment.' And we dream even bigger. By 2035, we will deliver 'optimal light' to every site in Japan. This is more than just switching to LED. It is a world where, even if people are not conscious of the light, optimal light exists in -60°C, 100°C, or dusty environments. A society where safe, efficient, and comfortable light is standard in every workplace. Toward a future where there is optimal light in every place where people are active. If light changes, the site changes. If the site changes, society changes. And the era where light designs the world will arrive. 3S Optech will go beyond the turning point of 2027 and into the future, continuing to expand the possibilities of light.
