ThreeR Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Hakata-ku, Fukuoka City, President: Yoichi Imamura) has completed the installation of the mobile battery sharing service “+% PLUS PERCENT” (hereinafter referred to as “Purapa”) at four commercial facilities operated by Nishi-Nippon Railroad Co., Ltd. (Solaria Stage, Solaria Plaza, Leiria Ohashi, Leiria Kurume) on April 2, 2026.

These four locations, major commercial facilities along the Nishi-Nippon Railroad line, are important hubs in Fukuoka visited daily by many customers for shopping, commuting, and school. With the current widespread use of cashless payments via smartphones and information sharing on social media, smartphone battery consumption while out and about is intense.

Especially for customers who stay in the facilities for extended periods for shopping or dining, a dead smartphone battery is a significant source of anxiety. With this installation, users at each facility can easily rent a battery via the app and enjoy shopping while charging. As it is a sharing-type service where batteries can be borrowed from one location and returned at another, it can be utilized as a highly flexible mobile infrastructure that can be used on the go during commutes or between classes, or even while out and about.

Starting from Fukuoka, ThreeR is advancing the development of charging infrastructure that enhances convenience in collaboration with regional transportation, commercial, and public services. With the spread of digital devices such as smartphones, the need for charging while out and about is rapidly increasing. “+% PLUS PERCENT” (Purapa) is a mobile battery sharing service that can be easily used through an app, providing an environment where it can be comfortably used in various places around town, with the concept of “Plattosagashte Pattosharuge” (roughly, ‘Find it easily and charge it quickly’). The usage fee is 100 yen for the first hour (or less) and 250 yen for up to 12 hours, with a user-friendly pricing structure that solves everyday minor “troubles”.
