Global Standard Co., Ltd. in Kiryu City, Gunma Prefecture, is developing the 'Circular Welfare Project,' which recycles used pachinko machines and provides them free of charge to welfare facilities. Introductions have been completed in Kiryu City, Fukuoka Prefecture, and Chiba Prefecture, with simultaneous introductions progressing at a total of five facilities. Cases have been confirmed where users' exercise time has increased approximately threefold due to patented technology, and the initiative is advancing nationwide as a new model that balances resource circulation with support for the health of the elderly.

Main Body

The 'Circular Welfare Project' originating from Kiryu City, Gunma Prefecture, is seeing nationwide expansion triggered by simultaneous introductions in multiple regions.

Upper body exercise through grip operation

This project, developed by Global Standard Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Kiryu City, Gunma Prefecture, Representative Director: Tomoyuki Noguchi), involves collecting and refurbishing used amusement machines and providing them free of charge to welfare facilities for use in functional training and recreation.

It is structured as a 'Circular Welfare Model' that simultaneously solves two social issues: the reuse of amusement machines and the creation of exercise opportunities for the elderly.

Actual Usage Scenes

Introductions have now been completed at welfare facilities in Kiryu City, Gunma Prefecture, Fukuoka Prefecture, and Chiba Prefecture. Furthermore, simultaneous introductions are underway at a total of five facilities, including those in Saitama Prefecture and Gifu Prefecture.

This project, which began as a local initiative, is now entering a phase where nationwide deployment is realistic due to the accumulation of introduction achievements.

Features: Full-Body Functional Training

Lower body training using foot pads

・Upper body exercise through grip operation ・Lower body exercise through stepping and pedaling ・Safe full-body exercise while seated

Combining foot exercise with gameplay

The unique mechanism that simultaneously uses the upper and lower limbs is established as Patent No. 6719977.

Introduction Effects

At the facilities where it has been introduced, cases have been observed where users who initially tired after about 5 minutes naturally extended their exercise time to 10 or 15 minutes by becoming engrossed in the game.

The characteristic is that it allows for natural continuation of exercise through 'enjoyment,' rather than the 'obligation' to exercise.

Usage Scenes (Overall)

User engrossed in operation

Currently, inquiries about introduction are increasing from welfare facilities nationwide, and introduction adjustments are underway in multiple regions, including the Kanto, Chubu, and Kyushu areas.

Furthermore, the number of pachinko machines collected (donated) is also increasing, and

"Inquiry → Collection → Refurbishment → Introduction"

This cycle has actually begun to function.

Social Background

With the advancement of the aging population, securing opportunities for daily exercise is becoming increasingly important, while the reuse of amusement machines is also a social issue.

This project connects these two aspects and is being developed as

"Circulating unused items to where they are needed"

a new social model.

It also contributes to SDG Goal 3 (Good Health and Well-being) and Goal 12 (Responsible Consumption and Production).

Media Coverage

This initiative was featured on Gunma TV (broadcast on March 17, 2026).
