100BANCH, a future creation hub that aims to create new value with the younger generation who will lead the future, under the concept of "An experimental zone to enrich the world 100 years from now," has decided on the 108th cohort of its acceleration program, "GARAGE Program." Six projects moved in in July 2026.
The GARAGE Program is an acceleration program that promotes projects and social experiments by young leaders who will shape the next 100 years. It provides activity space and mentor support to young people under 35 who are pursuing the future. Selected projects will utilize this program for three months to work on their respective experiments for the future. Details of the 108th cohort projects are as follows:
miokuri
To implement a system in society that allows residents to be present at the end of public buildings.
A project to make it commonplace for residents to be present at the end of public buildings.
This project visualizes public buildings scheduled for demolition or reconstruction nationwide on a map, creating a space where residents can learn about and engage with the fate of the building from an early stage. In Japan, over half of public buildings will be over 50 years old by 2033, with an estimated renewal cost of 176 to 195 trillion yen over the next 30 years. However, currently, many residents only learn about demolition or reconstruction after the decision has been made. Miokuri aims to create time for residents to be present at the end of a building's life, regardless of whether it is demolished, preserved, or rebuilt, from a neutral standpoint. Furthermore, it will create "farewell spaces" through memory exhibitions and workshops.

FrontierPass

FrontierPass is a project that provides young people with continuous opportunities in education, practical experience, and employment, fostering cross-border talent mobility. Currently, primarily in Nigeria, it is building a system that provides digital skills education using smartphones and opportunities to participate in practical projects, connecting them to remote employment. With the establishment of local bases in mind, it aims to contribute not only to connecting talent to external markets but also to local job creation and economic development.

BinGo
Transforming "littering" into the most exciting "advertising media" in town.
A project that aims to create a new culture by transforming trash disposal into an advertising experience.
Especially now, when we are asked, "What can young people do?" we want to create the standard for the next era with our own hands. BinGo is a youth-led sustainable advertising media born out of the desire to solve Shibuya's littering problem. By combining experiential installations that make people want to throw away trash with corporate sponsorship, we will demonstrate a new form of cleanup that does not rely on volunteers. Let this system become a new culture in Shibuya. We will convey a new way of experiencing the streets that will enrich the next 100 years.

Creating a music world where fans' true feelings reach artists and the passion for creation circulates.
A project aiming for a world where cultural artists can work with peace of mind 100 years from now.
The value of music cannot be measured solely by play counts or fame. PetroLight is a project that visualizes fans' gratitude and emotions, which are difficult to express through words or actions, and directly delivers "fans' true feelings" to independent artists, serving as fuel for their continued creation. It will create a new cycle of music support in society, allowing music that deeply resonates with a few to shine continuously, supported by the listeners' feelings, without being cut short by financial concerns.

Horoyoi Sweets Lab
Between "drinking" and "not drinking," a new sweets experience.
A project that aims to fill the gap in drinking culture and propose new sweets experiences.
A brand that solves the dilemma of "I admire alcohol, but I can't finish it!" with sweets. Unlike existing Western confectionery with alcohol as a "hidden flavor," this brand makes "drinking alcohol" itself, such as beer and local sake, the star. It offers a bar-like experience where customers can choose sweets based on the brand and alcohol content of the drink, according to their mood. "A three-bite luxury" freed from the responsibility of finishing a whole drink. It proposes a new way of enjoying a favorite item that can be casually enjoyed in the gaps of daily life, with the admiration and exhilaration inspired by the sophisticated world of alcohol.

100BANCH is a complex facility that works with the younger generation who will lead the future to create new value, under the concept of "An experimental zone to enrich the world 100 years from now." It was established on July 7, 2017, coinciding with Panasonic's 100th anniversary, with the idea that "a gathering of young energy unbound by convention will enrich the future 100 years from now."
Since then, it has supported the first steps of ambitious young people in creating the future by providing a "place" where experiments can be conducted 24/7, along with advice from leading mentors in various fields, and "opportunities" for dissemination through over 100 events and large exhibitions annually.
