Sendai City's Global Startup Event "DATERISE! 2026" Gains Support from All Tohoku Prefectures

The startup event "DATERISE! 2026" (organized by Sendai City / operated by 01Booster), with the theme of "Global," has newly announced supporting organizations and program information.

This time, in addition to Miyagi Prefecture as co-organizer, support from the five Tohoku prefectures of Aomori, Iwate, Akita, Yamagata, and Fukushima has been decided. The event will be held as a startup event involving the entire Tohoku region.

Furthermore, to strengthen the session program that was well-received last year, the session stage will be expanded from one stage last year to two stages, creating more diverse themes, discussions, and networking opportunities.

Additionally, NTT East Corporation (hereinafter "NTT East") has decided to participate again this year as a "PLATINUM SPONSOR." As a partner promoting startup support and regional co-creation, they will help energize the event.

"DATERISE! 2026" will gather a diverse range of players, including startups from Tohoku or with Tohoku connections, business companies, investors, local governments, and research institutions. Through pitch contests, talk sessions, booth exhibitions, festival events, and networking, it aims to create new innovation from Sendai and Tohoku.

In response to last year's feedback, "DATERISE! 2026" will expand the session stage from one to two stages. This will allow multiple themes such as startup growth strategies, fundraising, global expansion, university-launched startups, and regional co-creation to be conducted in parallel, providing learning and networking opportunities tailored to attendees' interests.
