The brand was introduced to Japan by Joseph Liedankl, nephew of 'Aunt Stella,' who was a kindergarten teacher in Pennsylvania Dutch Country and known for her cookie baking skills. The new Ueno Marui store will feature a weigh-and-sell corner with about 15 varieties, including classic and seasonal flavors. Specific product examples and their prices include: Country Bear Tent Box (6 pieces, 648 JPY), Dutch Country (S: 8 pieces, 778 JPY; M: 14 pieces, 1,350 JPY), Warm Heart (S: 24 pieces, 2,376 JPY; M: 35 pieces, 3,564 JPY; L: 58 pieces, 5,940 JPY), and Message (S: 12 pieces, 1,188 JPY; M: 18 pieces, 1,782 JPY). An opening campaign will commence on April 17 (Friday) for a limited quantity.
