Resort Hotel Moana Coast in Naruto City, Tokushima Prefecture (Location: Naruto City, Tokushima Prefecture; Operated by: Naruto Leisure Land Co., Ltd.) will open its new observation deck, "Luna Blue Deck," offering the most beautiful views within the hotel, on Monday, May 18, 2026.

"Luna Blue Deck" is the premier viewpoint on the hotel premises, offering panoramic views of the beautiful sandy beach stretching approximately 4.5 km, and the calm seas spanning the Harimanada Sea and the Kii Suido. In front of you, a liberating location unfolds, overlooking the magnificent Onaruto Bridge and even Awaji Island.

In the morning, you can witness the sunrise over the horizon, and at night, the light of the full moon reflects on the sea surface, creating the magical natural phenomenon known as the "Moon Road," where the moon appears to create a path directly to you. Furthermore, on clear days, a sky full of stars spreads out without a single cloud, allowing you to enjoy different breathtaking sceneries depending on the time of day.

The observation space also features a Seashell Ema (votive tablet) Corner where you can write your wishes and hang them. It is highly recommended for creating travel memories or commemorating special moments with loved ones.

Moana Coast will open "Luna Blue Deck" not only to staying guests but also to lunch customers, offering the unique scenic experience of Naruto to a wider audience.

Creating New Value for Accommodation After the COVID-19 Pandemic: "Aiming for Unique High Added Value"

After the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, the classification under the Infectious Diseases Act shifted to Category 5, and various long-standing restrictions were lifted. In the full post-COVID era, the environment surrounding the accommodation and tourism industry, the market, and customer needs such as travel purposes have significantly changed, influenced by domestic tourism demand promotion measures by the government and local authorities like GoTo Travel and National Travel Support, and the rapid recovery from the stagnation of inbound demand. Resort Hotel Moana Coast, which has always operated under the concept of "small-scale, high-quality," has further aimed to become a distinctive facility. We fully renovated the main building guest rooms in February 2023 and the detached villa guest rooms in February 2024, transforming them into "Japan's first*" maisonette rooms with private jet baths (open-air/semi-open-air) and private saunas in all rooms. And now, the final phase of a long-term construction project spanning over three years, the "establishment of a new guest-exclusive lounge," has been completed, leading to a renewal opening on December 6, 2024.

With the previous renovations, all guest rooms were equipped with private jet baths (open-air/semi-open-air) and löyly-style private saunas, allowing guests to enjoy the open-air bath (semi-open-air bath) and sauna as many times as they wish during their stay without worrying about others. This time, by establishing a new guest-exclusive lounge "THE SHIP" as a special space for staying guests to relax outside their rooms, we aim to create a facility where guests can spend a "slightly luxurious extraordinary experience" for "special occasions" with "loved ones."

Following the special renewal commemorative plan now on sale, we plan to roll out distinctive special plans for each season in the future.
