Kanazawa Port Signs Paris Olympics Taiwan Representative and World Championships Silver Medalist Gao Chen-Rui

We are pleased to announce that Kanazawa Port has reached a player contract agreement with Gao Chen-Rui, a representative of Taiwan, for the 2026–2027 season.

Gao Chen-Rui is one of Taiwan's top young table tennis players, having represented Taiwan at the 2024 Paris Olympics and won a silver medal in men's doubles at the 2025 World Table Tennis Championships.

Additionally, he achieved runner-up at the 2023 WTT Contender Lima and contributed to Taiwan's bronze medal in the team event at the 2024 World Team Table Tennis Championships, steadily building an international track record.

At the 2024 Paris Olympics, he advanced to the men's singles round of 16, competing strongly against the world's elite players.

Now 21 years old, Gao continues to perform at the highest level globally and is expected to achieve even greater success in the future.

Kanazawa Port was deeply impressed by Gao's exceptional technical skills, competitive strength, and unwavering determination to challenge the world, leading to this contract agreement.

For Kanazawa Port, which aims to surpass last season's playoff final appearance, Gao's addition will be a major asset in the pursuit of their long-cherished goal of winning their first championship.

Notably, this will be Gao's first participation in Japan's T.League. We invite you to closely watch how this young Taiwanese star performs on Japan's premier league stage.
