Fairmont Tokyo (1-1-1 Shibaura, Minato-ku, Tokyo, General Manager: Carlos Vicente) will begin offering two summer-limited shaved ice desserts, "Mango & Crème Brûlée Shaved Ice" and "Peach & Meringue Shaved Ice," at its 35th-floor lobby lounge "Vue Mer" starting July 1, 2026 (Wed.).

This summer, as Fairmont Tokyo celebrates its first anniversary, two types of shaved ice desserts, a first for the hotel, will be introduced. With a concept that beautifully fuses the lounge cultures of France and Japan, "Vue Mer" offers a modern reinterpretation of "kakigori," a quintessential Japanese summer treat, infused with the essence of French patisserie. "Mango & Crème Brûlée Shaved Ice" and "Peach & Meringue Shaved Ice" each possess distinct charms, presenting limited-edition summer sweets where the delicate texture of the ice melts in the mouth, layered with the unique characteristics of their ingredients.

Inside the ice, rich fresh mango is hidden, and the addition of shiratama (mochi balls) offers a textural contrast. It's a dish that evokes the arrival of summer with its tropical aroma.
