14th Edition of Nagoya's Ozone Cultural Crawl Festival 'Osu Myoou Fest' Announced for June 28, 2026

This event is a roaming cultural festival held on the 28th of every month (Saturday or Sunday), bringing together diverse cultures such as idols, cosplay, local heroes, and used book markets, with the aim of creating new cultural intersections among visitors, local shops, creators, and entertainment.

Since its launch on January 28, 2023, 13 editions have been held to date, attracting an average of 5,000 visitors per day.

This year, in addition to the 14th edition on June 28, events are also scheduled for November and December.

'Osu Myoou Fest' is a cross-genre urban festival that fully leverages the multicultural characteristics of Nagoya's Osu district.

The festival aims to transcend traditional genre-specific events by designing experiences that encourage visitors to explore the area based on shared interests.

■ Purpose of the Event

Osu is a rare district in Japan where shopping street culture, subculture, and tourism coexist.

However, events have often been fragmented by genre.

Osu Myoou Fest aims to create:

- Cross-genre visitor flow

- Customer referrals to local shops

- Increased interaction between creators and visitors

ultimately striving to turn the entire neighborhood into one unified festival.

■ About the Organizing Group 'MatsuriLINK'

MatsuriLINK is a volunteer group reorganized from the 'Osu Myoou Fest Executive Committee' to support the expansion of the festival. Composed of local shopping districts, businesses, tenants, and students including those from Nagoya University, the group operates around two core principles:

- ① Linking Festivals: Connecting local festivals to school festivals, creating a cultural relay to the next event

- ② Linking People and Culture: Connecting communities, shops, creators, entertainment, and participants through festivals

Aiming beyond one-off events, MatsuriLINK seeks to build a sustainable 'festival ecosystem'.
