The Tachikawa Festival Showa Kinen Park Fireworks Display, the largest event in Tachikawa City, has been decided to be held again this year. Please come and enjoy the elaborate fireworks, such as the 1.5 shaku diameter fireworks, Geikyo-dama, and wide starmines, which will color the summer night sky of Tachikawa for the first time in a while.

Free. However, an admission ticket is required to enter the main viewing area within Showa Kinen Park.

This year, due to the large-scale expansion of the paid viewing area, the operation of the area around Minna no Harappa in Showa Kinen Park, which was previously largely free to view, will be significantly changed, and the locations where free viewing is possible will be greatly altered. Due to this, the free viewing areas are expected to be more crowded than usual, so please consider purchasing tickets for viewing within the park. In addition, under the guidance of both Tachikawa and Akishima police, entry may be restricted if excessive congestion occurs at the venue.
