Sagamihara City Hometown Athlete Junto Nakatani Receives Enthusiastic Cheers from Citizens! Message Board Presented.

Sagamihara City, with the full support of the city, presented a message board with encouraging messages from citizens and city officials to Mr. Ken Murano, chairman of the "M.T Boxing Gym," to which professional boxer Junto Nakatani, a hometown athlete of the city, belongs. This presentation was made on April 29 (Wednesday/holiday) by Vice Mayor Katsuhiko Kayano, in support of Mr. Nakatani's challenge against Mr. Naoya Inoue in what is set to be the greatest Japanese boxing showdown in history, scheduled for May 2 (Saturday).

The four message boards, created by citizens and city officials who attended the "Sakaime Challenge Fes" event held with Zama City on April 26 (Sunday), are scheduled to be delivered to the athlete himself, conveying Sagamihara City's enthusiastic support to Mr. Nakatani.
