Machida City, Tokyo, will hold a commemorative lecture for Gender Equality Week. On June 20, 2026, midwife and sex education YouTuber Shiorine will be invited to speak on the theme of choosing a life that is true to oneself.

Every year from June 23rd to 29th is the "Gender Equality Week" established by the Cabinet Office.

Machida City will hold a commemorative lecture for Gender Equality Week, aiming for a society where everyone can be themselves and feel a sense of purpose.

This year, we will welcome Shiorine (Shiori Onuki), a midwife and sex education YouTuber. Why not think together with Shiorine about what we can do to live by valuing our "true selves," without being confined by "masculinity/femininity"?
