Start of Idea Solicitation Campaign for "FukuEco App"

The Kankyo Fukui Promotion Council (Dekokatsu Fukui Secretariat) has launched the "Great Idea Hunt for FukuEco App!!" campaign on June 1, 2026, to evolve the energy-saving promotion app "FukuEco App" for Fukui Prefecture into a better service by widely soliciting ideas from users, prefectural residents, and the general public. The application period is until July 15, 2026, 23:59, and anyone can participate without restrictions on residence or age.

Application Divisions

[Behavior Change Division] Ideas for mechanisms and initiatives to funnily encourage energy-saving actions in daily life by utilizing the FukuEco App.

[Function Division] Ideas for new features to be added to the FukuEco App or improvements to existing features.

Eligibility

- Open to anyone (residence and age are not a factor)

- Individuals and groups can apply

*Required Information: Name (nickname acceptable) / Email Address / Residence (prefecture level) / Application Division / Idea Title / Idea Outline (100-200 characters)

*Please note that communication costs incurred for application are the responsibility of the applicant. By applying, you agree that any adopted ideas may be used (including modification) by the organizer free of charge for implementation, functional improvements, and public relations measures for the "FukuEco App," and may be shared with Fukui Prefecture or third parties approved by Fukui Prefecture. Submitted ideas must be original and unpublished works that do not infringe on the rights of third parties.

Prizes

■ Grand Prize (1 winner per division): Awara Onsen Accommodation Voucher worth 50,000 yen

■ Runner-up Prize (1 winner per division): Mikawa Beef Marbled Sukiyaki Meat 1kg

■ Honorable Mention (3 winners per division): Fukui Prefecture Catalog Gift (Kou)

Judging Criteria

1. Novelty and Originality: Does it offer a unique perspective or surprise?

2. Effectiveness of Behavior Change: Does it incorporate mechanisms and ingenuity to encourage user action?

3. Feasibility: Can it be implemented with current technology? Is it practical in terms of cost and operation?

4. User Experience (UX): Is it stress-free and enjoyable for the user to continue using?

Judging Method

After an initial screening by the secretariat, a judging committee including external experts will conduct the final selection based on the above four criteria.

Results Announcement

Scheduled to be announced on the Dekokatsu Fukui website around Summer 2026.
