The Council of Citizen Welfare Organizations, a certified non-profit organization that promotes mutual aid and support in local communities and the creation of a society with gentle welfare, with 900 member NPOs in the caregiving sector (Headquarters: Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo; Representative Directors: Kimiko Washio and Ryosuke Toyoshima), will hold its 2026 Fiscal Year General Meeting on the date and time specified below. Additionally, starting at 13:30 on the same day, a commemorative lecture for the Council of Citizen Welfare Organizations' 2026 General Meeting, titled "The Long-Term Care Insurance System That Care Providers Must Know Now," will be held at Reference Nishi-Shinjuku Daikyo Building Conference Room S501 (5F, Nishi-Shinjuku Daikyo Building, 7-21-3 Nishi-Shinjuku, Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo). We will invite officials from the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare, who are in charge of the 10th phase of the Long-Term Care Insurance System starting in fiscal year 2027, to explain the key points and systems that long-term care insurance providers should be aware of. This lecture is aimed at Council members and affiliated organizations (such as caregiving NPOs), so please join us. Further details regarding the lecture will be announced later.
