Until now, SDGs have been discussed in the context of 'science (data)' and 'business (profit),' but this has not changed Japanese behavior. This book analyzes the difference in the spread of SDGs between Japan and the West from the perspective of 'cultural anthropology' for the first time in Japan. The author, with 18 years of field experience, compares and analyzes the cause of the lack of SDGs penetration in Japan as the loss of a firm religious view and life philosophy, which is a factor in 'Japan's failure.'
