e-Sports Experience Event V at Yokosuka Curry Festival 2026 to be Held! ~Metaverse Experience Event Also Held Simultaneously!~

As part of the Yokosuka e-Sports Project, the "e-Sports Experience Event V at Yokosuka Curry Festival 2026" will be held on Saturday, May 16th and Sunday, May 17th.

In addition to an experience corner for beginners of "Street Fighter 6," a guest battle corner and a mini-tournament will be held on the second day. With the cooperation of Capcom Co., Ltd., luxurious prizes will also be available, so please join us.

Furthermore, this year, a metaverse experience event will be held simultaneously.

A multi-player from Yokosuka who has expanded his activities as a caster, including reaching the finals of the "All Japan e-Sports Commentator King Deciding Match" hosted by Gunma Prefecture, and serving as event MC for corporate booths at "Tokyo Game Show."

3. About Metaverse Yokosuka

A project by Yokosuka City, launched in October Reiwa 5 (2023), utilizing the metaverse for the purpose of disseminating urban charm and promoting tourism.

Currently, two worlds are operated on the metaverse platform "VRChat."

In addition, 3D data of local items such as Sukajan jackets are provided free of charge on BOOTH and the official website, and are widely used by many users.
