UNO DESIGN Inc. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Yuichi Uno) will hold a limited-time pop-up BRIDAL SELECT SHOP "ituwa" starting July 11, 2026 (Sat.) as a preliminary event leading up to a full-scale costume partnership with Hotel New Otani (Osaka), a premier hospitality provider in the Kansai region.
1. The centerpiece dress: "ituwa" "ituwa" has been featured on the cover of American bridal magazines and selected as costumes for world-renowned pianists, following its presentation at New York Bridal Week.
This event features a curated selection of accessories that can be used for everyday wear, as well as various items for wedding scene decorations and home interiors, chosen by the designer.
As a venue for a preview experience of new wedding styles...
In the highly prestigious setting of a hotel, where classic dresses are the norm, the needs for various wedding and bridal styles are diversifying. This will be an experimental bridal select shop where customers can freely select items that go beyond just the classic, widely popular dresses, including slender dresses and dresses made with unique materials that aren't just white, regardless of the venue.
"ituwa," designed and produced by UNO DESIGN, creates a unique worldview that fuses Japanese traditional beauty with modern Western sensibilities, where "present and history, East and West crossover."
Participated in New York Bridal Week in 2021 (Horizon Bridal WEEK), 2022, and 2024. Featured by buyers and media.
Effortless "ituwa" dresses and kimonos where East and West crossover
2. "Parallel Worlds," the latest "ituwa" collection: Sparkling through your smartphone, an innovation in texture
The new "ituwa" collection deconstructs the fixed notion of "wedding dress = white, princess line." It is not merely a costume, but a dress that can embody each bride's individuality at their true scale.
"Beautiful materials that look great on smartphones"
Utilizes materials that shine through the lens of a smartphone, such as photogenic brilliance, a must-have for modern brides.
"Fusion of Japanese and Western styles"
Features a lineup of costumes where East and West crossover, such as turning traditional Nishijin-ori into dresses, or tailoring wedding kimonos (shiromuku and iromuji) in Kyoto using luxurious European jacquard materials.
Proposes "another beauty" that breaks away from the classic.
Dresses that are not overly voluminous, considering the closeness with guests and ease of movement. These are light and effortless (comfortable to wear) dresses.
A choice only possible for free and independent women.
3. "LIFESTYLE+BRIDAL" - Refined living selections starting from the wedding ceremony
The shop's selection includes items that can be used not only for the wedding day dress but also for styling in daily life after the celebratory wedding day.
