Spelab operates over 700 stores and 22,000+ indoor trunk rooms (rental storage spaces) primarily in Tokyo and Osaka.

Despite rising real estate prices, living space in urban areas is limited, and homes are becoming more streamlined. However, this does not mean that items filled with precious memories such as hobby equipment, seasonal clothing, and hina dolls or Christmas trees used only a few times a year become unnecessary.

Trunk Room "Spelab" offers non-face-to-face viewings (by appointment only), and contracts and cancellations can be completed online.

In response to the need for contactless and non-face-to-face interactions in the post-COVID era, we have implemented online applications based on customer feedback for those who want to use the service immediately.

*Smart locks and dial keys are used, so there is no need to receive physical keys.

Feature 2: From application to use in as little as 1 hour

Especially for busy business people in Tokyo, there are cases where they need storage space immediately due to sudden transfers, overseas assignments, or business trips.

To meet such needs, we have simplified the application and contract process as much as possible, allowing use upon completion of credit card payment after signing the contract. Additionally, since smart locks and dial keys are used instead of physical keys, there is no hassle of picking them up.

Feature 3: Secure double security & monitoring system

Trunk rooms are places where your important belongings are stored.

In addition to being private rooms, they are equipped with locks at the entrance and for each room, ensuring a secure double-lock system.

Furthermore, surveillance cameras are installed in the corridors within the trunk rooms.

*There have been no reported incidents of theft so far.

Feature 4: New and clean stores

Most stores are less than one year old, with all interior finishes, including partitions, being new.

Regular cleaning is performed, so the stores are kept clean.
