From TREES – studio & market, a studio and market located along the Meguro River and cherry blossom trees, a new art project "TOKYO CITY POP" gallery project will offer visitors a touch of wonderful art to enrich their daily lives.

The project is themed around two concepts: "CITY," inspired by the Nakameguro location, and "POP," derived from the concept of enriching life. It aims to enliven the gallery with various artists.

The 8th edition, titled "Airs," welcomes contemporary artist Kazuhiro Umehara.

This exhibition will feature works centered on "AIR," a theme Umehara has been exploring in recent years, presenting pieces that are quiet yet possess a strong presence.

Within seemingly simple compositions, tension and tranquility coexist, prompting viewers to become aware of the space and their own senses when engaging with the works.

In recent years, Umehara has focused on the invisible existence of "AIR," expressing the process of transforming valueless things into value through his works.

Quietly drifting air, slight discomfort, and beauty.

Through the works and space, the exhibition offers a gentle encounter with the "air" and sensations that are usually unnoticed.

Bring a slightly new sensation and perspective to your daily life.
