Data Science Learning Materials Using Miyajima Tourism and Baseball to be Distributed to All High Schools in Hiroshima Prefecture

Rejoui Inc. has developed "Data Science Learning Materials" that can be used in all high schools within Hiroshima Prefecture, commissioned by the Hiroshima Prefectural Board of Education. This project was carried out as part of the cross-regional initiatives for the FY2025 High School DX Acceleration Promotion Project. It is scheduled to be used sequentially in each high school in the prefecture starting in fiscal year 2026. The materials consist of exercise materials for mastering the basics of data science, centered on video learning, and inquiry-based materials for independent thinking and problem-solving. By using themes unique to Hiroshima, such as data on Miyajima tourism and sports, the content aims to help students learn while perceiving the topics as "personal." Additionally, explanatory materials are included for teachers, summarizing key points of instruction and common pitfalls.
