RE Planning Works Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Kahoku City, Ishikawa Prefecture, Representative: Tetsu Hashiya) has supported the planning and promotion of a collaborative product between Fukui Prefecture's Japanese confectionery shop "Hayakawa" (Main store: Katsuyama City, Fukui Prefecture, Representative: Keita Hayakawa) and Godiva Japan Co., Ltd., as part of its support for collaboration between Fukui Prefecture and Godiva Japan Co., Ltd.

We are pleased to announce that the new product "Habutae Kurumi White Chocolate & Matcha," created by both companies celebrating their 100th anniversaries, will be released on May 15, 2026 (Friday) at select Godiva stores nationwide.

This product was pre-sold at Godiva Seibu Fukui store from April 28, 2026 (Tuesday), and expanded to the Hokuriku area from May 8 (Friday). It garnered significant attention during its regional limited sale, and now its sales area will be expanded nationwide.

New Product Born from a 100-Year Encounter

In 2026, Godiva Japan Co., Ltd. and Fukui Prefecture's long-established Japanese confectionery shop "Hayakawa" will both celebrate their 100th anniversaries.

By combining the tradition of Fukui's famous confectionery "Habutae Kurumi" with Godiva's commitment and technology in chocolate, a new sweet that fuses Japanese and Western styles has been born.

New Product Launch Event Held at Fukui Prefectural Office Prior to Release

On April 27, 2026 (Monday), Godiva Japan Co., Ltd. paid a courtesy visit to the governor and held a new product launch event and tasting session for local media at the Fukui Prefectural Office.

On the day, Mr. Jerome Chouchan, President of Godiva Japan Co., Ltd., paid a courtesy visit to the Governor of Fukui Prefecture. At the product launch event, the background of development and product features were explained, followed by a tasting session and photo session, where the new product was unveiled to local media and stakeholders.
