OSG Corporation was awarded the top 'Real Awareness Category' prize at the 'Hitosuzumi Award 2026' and the 'Public-Private Cooperation Heat Countermeasure Symposium 2026' (organized by the Heatstroke Prevention Calling Project; supported by the Ministry of the Environment, MEXT, and the Fire and Disaster Management Agency) on May 15, 2026. This marks the company's 11th consecutive year of receiving the top award, a unique achievement in the industry.
Furthermore, from among the 18 top award-winning companies, OSG was selected by a vote of 7,394 project-affiliated organizations and 25,265 heatstroke prevention advisors to receive the 'Top Runner Award' (Corporate Division), resulting in a double win.
As part of the 'Sutehaji' project, OSG Corporation installed 52 water supply spots at the Osaka-Kansai Expo. With the goal of raising awareness for 'climate change countermeasures, heatstroke prevention, and plastic waste reduction,' all employees earned the 'Heatstroke Prevention Advisor' certification and encouraged visitors and staff to hydrate frequently using personal bottles.
The 'four pieces of evidence' from the Expo are as follows: 1. Over 12 million water refill experiences by 2,500+ million visitors. 2. Personal bottle usage exceeded 50% one month after opening, demonstrating behavioral change. 3. Per-person waste output was 179g, less than half of the predicted 344g. 4. Achieved 'zero heatstroke deaths' at the international event.
Moving forward, OSG will continue to promote the 'new choice' of frequent hydration using personal bottles alongside its co-creation partners.
