NTTe-Sports High School Omiya Campus, a Hub for Esports and Digital Education, to Open in April 2027 near Omiya Station West Exit

NTTe-Sports Co., Ltd. (President: Motoharu Harada) will open 'NTTe-Sports High School Omiya Campus,' a new learning space for young people to cultivate 'interpersonal skills' and 'digital skills' through esports, near the west exit of Omiya Station in Saitama City in April 2027.

The Omiya campus will be the second campus, following the 'NTTe-Sports High School Chiba Campus' which opened in Chiba City in April 2025. At the Chiba campus, NTTe-Sports reaffirmed the potential and value of esports in education by observing students acquiring social skills through esports and eagerly tackling digital skills such as generative AI and programming. The Chiba campus offers an innovative environment and a learning design that fosters social skills through team-based esports, reinforcing interpersonal skills learned in life skills courses through practical application. This allows students to connect naturally and find a 'place of their own' where they feel secure. Furthermore, a digital curriculum condensed from the expertise of the NTT East Group has created a new form of education where students can acquire digital skills for their future while having fun.

Leveraging this track record and know-how, the Omiya campus will be opened, and student recruitment for the first term (scheduled for April 2027 enrollment) will commence on Wednesday, May 20, 2026.

Prior to the opening, a commemorative event for junior high school students and their parents will be held on Saturday, June 27, 2026. This event will feature a school introduction, talk sessions with guests active in the esports industry and current students, and individual consultations on career paths, providing a concrete look at a new form of learning centered on esports in high school life and the future options it opens up.

Based on the knowledge and success of the Chiba campus, and having secured a convenient location near the west exit of Omiya Station, the new 'Omiya Campus' will be opened.
