Amid a declining working-age population and difficulties in securing nursing care personnel, the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare (MHLW) will hold seminars for nursing care businesses and facilities this fiscal year to support productivity improvement in nursing care settings, aiming to improve the quality of nursing care services and reduce the burden on staff. Eligible facilities nationwide include home-based and facility-based nursing care services, as well as nursing homes for the elderly and low-cost nursing homes.
These seminars offer systematic learning from basic knowledge to practical know-how for actually working on productivity improvement in nursing care settings. This fiscal year, in addition to the "Beginner Seminar," the "Follow-up Seminar" has been expanded into two types—"Lecture Format" and "Workshop Format"—that can be chosen according to purpose, offering a total of three programs. These are free online seminars that can be widely utilized by nursing care stakeholders nationwide. We encourage you to take this opportunity to participate and kindly ask for your cooperation in informing relevant parties.
