Under this agreement, both companies will comprehensively promote institutional consistency, technical verification, introduction support, and operational model design, etc., based on the common mission of 'constructing effective shelter models adapted to Japan's institutional and geographical characteristics.'

[Background and Aim of the Basic Agreement]

In recent years, discussions have been advancing in Japan regarding strengthening the national protection system, developing specific temporary evacuation facilities, and promoting the designation of emergency temporary evacuation facilities. There is a demand for securing shelters that can seamlessly respond to all emergencies, from armed attack situations to natural disasters, and for establishing an effective system through public-private partnerships.

Meanwhile, in the United States, related design standards, operational systems, and crisis response training have been developed over many years.
